Jr. LifeKids Nursery: 6 weeks-2 years
In the Nursery we focus on showing your babies the love of God. We’re not just “babysitting”. When your babies are in the nursery you can be confident they are being prayed over and well cared for while you are enjoying service.
Jr. LifeKids Preschool: 3-5 years
In the Junior room we are committed to teaching your children godly principals through play, crafts, worship, storytelling, videos, Bible lessons, small group activities, and more. We make it so your children are having fun while learning the Word of God.
LifeKids: 6-12 years
In LifeKids the environment is relevant, exciting, & engaging. The heartbeat of our ministry is to make the Word of God come alive to your children through relatable messages, lively worship, scripture memory, small groups, and so much more!

At LifeKids our mission is to engage kids, instill a servants heart, and show Christ’s love and grace to the world. We are raising up difference makers by helping students to find their purpose in the body of Christ, learn God’s plan for their present and their future, provide them with the place to grow in their walk with Christ, and finally, by empowering families. We would love for our church family to become part of yours.

Pastor Shaina Yates
Shaina Yates is the Lead Children’s Pastor of Community Life Church in Port Charlotte, FL.
Shaina Yates has called Community Life Church her home since birth. She was raised in this church, saved in this church, and it’s here she’s been serving in the children’s ministry since middle school, experiencing God in ways that are truly amazing! It was also here Shaina met her wonderful husband Ryan and now has two beautiful kids of their own, MaKenna and Gunner. Whether it was volunteering in the nursery, teaching in the toddler class, or anything in-between, Shaina has always felt drawn to children of all ages and is proud to serve the Lord as a leader of the next generations. She and her team are committed to and passionate about sharing God’s love to the amazing group of kids here at Community Life Church and desire that each child will come to know the amazing love of God in his/her own life and create a solid relationship with Jesus Christ.
